My name is Ephraim, and I grew up in San Diego. After graduating from Indiana University and spending years building businesses at the intersection of sales and entrepreneurship, a deeply personal experience changed my path. When my dog suddenly fell ill, I rushed him to an emergency vet, hoping for help—but was met with indifference. I left feeling helpless and heartbroken. Thankfully, I later found a vet who treated him like family and saved his life. That emotional contrast—between being dismissed in a moment of crisis and being genuinely cared for—stuck with me. It made me realize how critical it is for pet parents to have real reviews, honest stories, and a sense of trust when choosing care.
That moment sparked VetReviews.org—a platform built for pet parents to support one another by sharing real experiences. San Diego will always be home—it’s where my dog and I walk the beach, where I find peace, and where the love for animals runs deep. I built this for people like us—so no one has to feel lost or alone when their pet needs help.
